Plastering Course

This course has been designed for anyone wishing to learn the sometimes elusive skill of plastering to a high standard. The course is ideal for anyone to either become a professional plasterer or to complement trades you already possess i.e. plumbers, tilers, electricians, property developers or diy enthusiasts You may be thinking to yourselves how can you become a plasterer in 4 days? The honest answer is NO you will not be an experienced plasterer in such a short time. Experience comes with practice. The important bit is having the right training to allow you to get the practice, which eventually will make you experienced. You are not expected to go out and plaster a whole house on your first job. You start off with small jobs and build up to bigger jobs as you gain more experience.

Why choose us? As I’m sure you are aware there are dozens of plastering courses to choose from and they all offer basically the same training. It’s your choice where you go. We differ to all the others because we offer a money back guarantee (Please view application form) we have a longer working day than most of our competitors and we can also supply you with accommodation adjacent to the training centre.

You will be supplied with a folder containing revlevant documents that can be used to form part of your portfolio of evidence if you wish to gain your NVQ in the future. We encourage you to bring your camera to photograph your work, which can also be used for your evidence. On completion you will also receive the Plumbskill plastering certificate. This all helps to gain employment.

Tutors profile: John Morris has over 25 years (time served city and guilds) in the plastering trade both home and abroad. From London originally, where he ran a successful plastering business before moving to Dorset 5 years ago. His experiences and vast knowledge are here for you to take away with you.

We make no excuses for the fact that you will get very messy (please bring appropriate old clothing and footwear) plastering is also a physically demanding skill, so be prepared for a few aching muscles and a guaranteed good nights sleep. Your body will soon adapt to this.

Please be onsite for 8 o’clock start. Finishing approximately 5 o’clock.
