Facilities for the Plumbskill Centre :
Why not bring the family down for a holiday whilst you are plumbing training? There are many reasonable hotels, camping and caravan sites in the area.
We conveniently offer a residential option with a limited number of rooms onsite. (N.B. accommodation is available at £60 per week for Plumbskill students only. Family members need to be catered for separately). Please indicate your preference on the Application Form. These rooms are issued on a first come first served basis.
   
If you require accommodation you should check with us before completing the application form so as not to be disappointed. If we cannot put you up please see our list of reputable local establishments which are shown in the link below for you to book for yourselves.
The Training Centre has tea and coffee freely available in the common room which is always open. There is also a microwave oven, toaster and fridge for your use plus plates, bowls and cutlery. The bedrooms have fridges to allow you to store your own food, I.e Milk, Butter, Bread etc.
All meals are your responsibility. There is a well-stocked sandwich van on site every day at 12 noon and a good variety of pubs, restaurants, take-aways and shops within easy reach of The Plumbskill Centre.
Alternatively, there are also plenty of other good Bed & Breakfast establishments in the area if you would prefer.
All of the offsite B&B's are close to the Plumbskill Centre and costs vary from £25 to £30 per night. If you choose to stay at an offsite B&B, please contact them directly to book, mention you are from Plumbskill Centre. We hope would get you a preferential rate.
Camping Facilities :
If you would like to camp or bring your camper van along we are also able to conveniently accommodate you onsite and offer shower facilities FREE-OF-CHARGE.
Specialist Tiling Courses (1 or 2 week) are also offered by High Lea Tiling Centre situated adjacent to The Plumbskill Centre. HLTC tiling courses can be booked to run consecutively with our course for convenience.
