Duration of Courses and Course Fees

Duration :

The duration of the Practical Plumbing & Heating Course will vary according to individual abilities. Somebody coming in from a manual skilled job will normally complete the course quicker than someone coming from an office environment although this does not impair or restrict you in any way.

We are all different and have our own reasons. The overall average time taken is about 10 days. If you are prepared to put in the time, i.e. 9 hours per day, then ten days is comfortably achievable for most people.

The cost of the course is the same regardless of the duration.

Our shorter Domestic Plumbing Course is designed to be done in a week although the right effort is needed to achieve this.

Opening Times - The course runs Monday to Friday from 08:30 finishing at 17:00.
Course Start Time - On the first Monday morning it is important to be here at 08:30 for an 08:30 start for your induction.

Everyone is taught exactly the same syllabus's using roughly the same amount of materials.

The time scale for completing the 2 week Practical Plumbing & Heating Course is flexible. We do not operate a block booking policy i.e. 8 students all starting on the same day. We have found from experience that staggered bookings and student numbers kept to a minimum give you the best individual plumbing training and a good chance of successfully completing the course in a shorter time scale. Some students will put in maximum effort and often complete the course early due to our flexible working hours.

When you have completed the course to our mutual satisfaction, you can finish up and leave if you want to. This will enable you to then start earning immediately.

You are also supplied with a tool kit to use on the course and take away with you when you have finished. You may wish to bring a camera with you to record your progress and to build a personal profile of projects completed.

Course Fees :

• The cost of the 2 week 'Practical Plumbing & Heating Course' is £1645 vat inclusive.
• The cost of the 1 week 'Domestic Plumbing Course' is £822.50 vat inclusive.

Specialist Tiling Courses (1 or 2 week) are also offered by Plumbskill Tiling Centre situated within The Plumbskill Centre. tiling courses can be booked to run consecutively with our course for convenience.
